In the Spring of 2016, we found ourselves meeting a lovely couple with warm smiles that told us they wanted to have their wedding in their parents’ backyard. Something meaningful, fun and close to home was what we set our sights for as we worked with them to plan their wedding day. Before working with couples, we always ask what is important for you on your big day, and one key element discussed was sustainability. Mason jars for guests, incorporating eco friendly meals and flatware, an organic ice cream cart, fruit focused centerpieces (instead of table numbers), and bouquets that mixed in vegetables. So much care and thought was put into their choices which is a grand reflection of the wonderful people they are, and how they take the time to think of others and the world we all share.
Between their beautiful vows, the laughter, an awesome first dance and a giant flash mob we certainly experienced a night we won’t forget. RJ & Jesse, thank you for inviting us to help with your wedding day. We were so honored to be a part of it and hope that you'll have all the time in the world to accomplish all that you aspire to do together as husband and wife. <3
